BFPA's Technical Committees have been involved with British and International Standard preparation for over 45 years. Currently over 160 of the industry's experts and scientists are active committee members.
The Association runs the committees as External Secretariat on behalf of the UK National Standards Body (NSB) British Standards Institute (BSI).
Representation on BFPA Technical Committees is open to both BFPA and BFPDA members. If you would like further information on how your contribution could influence the UK industry, please contact Yvonne.
A database of all fluid power standards is maintained to ensure the current status of any particular standard is available to committee members. Contact Yvonne for more information.
Global harmonisation is defined by ISO as the desired characteristic of an international standard that can be used/implemented as broadly as possible by affected industries and other stakeholders around the world.
