Two Hydac Engineers, Mike Bowen and Alan Clarke, have joined TC 6 Contamination Control (Filtration). As the BFPA operates the technical committees as an external secretariat on behalf of the British Standards Institution, (BSI) which in turn is in line with ISO, the International Standards Organisation, both will be officially registered with BSI as members of TC 6.

The BFPA is responsible for 11 technical committees which are run as part of the worldwide network of standards groups. Approximately 130 people give of their time with employer’s permission enabling the UK to maintain a leading role in this work. Indeed at the Chipping Norton office the BFPA is constantly tracking over 700 standards relevant to the Fluid Power Industry.
